BOOST YOUR BITSAT SCORE IN 2 MONTHS
BITSAT is a test that people take to get into college. First, you all know about BITSAT. To do well on the test, you need to understand what the BITSAT test is.
First, students have to know what to do on the BITSAT test for the year 2026. BITSAT is very important if you want to get a score on the BITSAT test.
What is BITSAT?
The BITSAT exam is a test that BITS Pilani uses to decide who gets into its programs like B.E., B.Pharm, and M.Sc. So on. BITS Pilani has campuses which are in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, and Dubai. The BITSAT exam is a test that you take on a computer. It has questions about Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning. The BITSAT exam is very important for people who want to study at BITS Pilani.
There are around 2,000 seats available through BITSAT across the various BITS campuses.
The registration for the sessions started on December 15, 2025. The registration for Session 1 or both sessions will close on March 16, 2026. If you want to apply for Session 1 or both sessions, you have to do it before March 16, 2026.
The BITSAT 2026 exam will be held in two parts. The BITSAT 2026 test will have a Session 1 that takes place from April 15 to April 17 in the year 2026. Then the BITSAT 2026 will have a Session 2 that takes place from May 24 to May 26 in the year 2026.
Students can take part in both sessions of the exam. The best score that the students get will be used to decide if they can be admitted. The students do not have to worry about which session they take because the university will look at the best score of the students.
Exam Pattern: It is a three-hour computer-based test with 130 multiple-choice questions divided into five sections: Physics (30 questions), Chemistry (30), English Proficiency (10), Logical Reasoning (20), and Mathematics or Biology (40).
Each question carries 3 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for an incorrect answer. After finishing all 130 questions, a candidate can opt for 12 extra questions.
Eligibility: The candidate should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or Biology), with at least 60% in each subject in their 12th exam. Only students appearing for 12th in 2026 or who passed in 2025 are eligible.
1. The first thing to do is to understand what you need to study for BITSAT.
This exam is based on what you learned in Classes 11 and 12 from NCERT. Do not try to study everything at once. Instead, focus on the things that NCERT teaches. BITSAT has a lot of questions from Physics and Mathematics, so you should study these subjects more than the others. Make sure you know the syllabus really well and study it in a smart way. BITSAT is about understanding the main concepts from NCERT, so focus on that.
2. Practice: You have 3 hours to answer 130 questions.
That is 1.4 minutes for each question. You should practice solving problems fast. Use timed mock tests all the time to get into the habit.
Speed is important. Accuracy is also very important for speed and accuracy because you lose one mark for every wrong answer, so do not try to answer questions when you are not sure about the answer.
3. Do not neglect English and Logical Reasoning.
Many students focus on the science subjects. However, English and Logical Reasoning are also very important. English Proficiency, which has 10 questions, and Logical Reasoning, which has 20 questions, together make up 30 questions. This is a chunk of the questions. You can score well in English and Logical Reasoning with some practice, on vocabulary, English grammar, reading comprehension, and standard Logical Reasoning patterns. English and Logical Reasoning are not that hard to score in if you practice them regularly.
4. Use the 12 Extra Questions Wisely
If you finish all 130 questions before the time runs out, you get the 12 Extra Questions as a bonus. The 12 Extra Questions are really good for your score because they can only help your score; they cannot lower your score. The main thing is to be fast so you can reach the 12 Extra Questions, which is why you need to do timed practice all the time to get better at the 12 Extra Questions and the other questions.
5. Practice with Previous Year Papers
BITS Pilani releases sample papers and papers from previous years. This is really helpful because it gives you an idea of what the questions will be, like. You get to know the style of the questions and how hard they are. Practicing with Previous Year Papers of BITS Pilani also helps you deal with the time pressure. So it is an idea to practice with Previous Year Papers of BITS Pilani.
6. Take Both Sessions
Since you can take both Session 1 and Session 2 and only your best score will count, you should use Session 1 as a try and Session 2 as a chance to do better if you need to.
This really helps to take a lot of pressure off Session 1 and Session 2. You can just focus on doing in both Session 1 and Session 2.
7. Build a Consistent Routine
Start getting ready for the exam early, like six months before it is scheduled to take place.
Even if you study for the exam for two or three hours every day, it can really make a big difference when you are consistent, and you do this every day across all the subjects you need to study for the exam.
The exam is what you are working towards. You need to study for the exam every day. This is really important for the exam. Studying for the exam every day will help you do well on the exam.
Understand the Exam Structure First
The BITSAT 2026 test has a lot of questions. 130 To be exact. These BITSAT 2026 questions are divided into parts like Physics, which has 30 questions, Chemistry, which also has 30 questions, Mathematics, which has 40 questions, English, which has 10 questions, and Logical Reasoning, which has 20 questions. When we look at 2026, we can see that Mathematics is very important because it carries the most weight at roughly 33 percent. After Mathematics in the 2026 Physics and Chemistry are also very important with around 30 percent weightage each, in the BITSAT 2026 test.
When you get an answer right, you get 3 marks. If you get an answer wrong, 1 mark is taken away. If a student can finish all 130 questions before time runs out, the student gets to try 12 bonus questions. The bonus questions are a reward for finishing all 130 questions on time.
Master the Core Subjects (PCM)
The main study material is based on the things we learn in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from NCERT Class 11 and Class 12. The Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics topics are the things that we need to study from the NCERT Class 11 and the NCERT Class 12.
Read the theory carefully from the NCERT textbooks. This will help you understand things better. Then you need to solve lots of problems from Arihant Books. This is how you will get faster and more accurate. You should go through all the formulas every day.
The main thing to remember is that you need to be fast and accurate, not just know a lot of things.
Lots of people think that BITSAT is about how much you know. That is not true. BITSAT is actually a test of how you can work how accurate you are and how good you are, with computers and technology.
You have to manage your time carefully because you only have about 3 minutes for each question. Practicing with a timer helps you learn how to pace yourself. Time management is crucial when taking a test with time limits, and regular practice with a timer helps you develop pacing strategies for the test. Managing time is critical for the test.
Use Mock Tests Strategically
Students should try to take fifteen to twenty mock tests. They should start taking these tests four to five months before the exam. The student should take tests as the exam gets closer. When students take these tests, they should make it feel like the real exam day. This means they should not take any breaks; they have to follow the time limit. They need to be in a quiet room where they will not get distracted. Taking tests in this way is really important for the student. The student should take the tests in a distraction free environment and with strict timing, just like the real exam day, and the student should take the mock tests without any breaks to make it feel like the real exam day, for the student.
Don't Ignore English & Logical Reasoning
The English Proficiency section is worth 8 percent of the total marks, and it is pretty easy to do well in this section if you prepare for it properly. To do well in Logical Reasoning, you should practice things like puzzles, series, and coding-decoding problems. This will help you to get your answers, and it will also help you to answer the questions more quickly. You need to practice these things to improve your speed and accuracy in Logical Reasoning.
Score Benchmarks to Aim For
For BITS Pilani, a safe score for Computer Science is 320+, for Mechanical it's 280+, and for Civil it's around 260+.
Masterclass Space has a test series for BITSAT that was made by people who went to BITS and IIT. These tests are on the computer. They cover everything that you need to know for BITSAT. They have practice tests that're just like the real thing. The people who made these tests tried to make them not too hard and not too easy, so they are just right for the BITSAT exam. The Masterclass Space test series, for BITSAT, is really helpful because it is made by BITSians and IITians who know what they are doing.
Key Features:
Students can take tests from their mobile or tablet at any time. After each test, they get instant results and detailed reports covering time taken, accuracy, topic-wise marks, productive vs. unproductive time, and identification of strong and weak areas.
After each test, the students get results and detailed reports. These reports show the time taken to complete the test and how accurately the student performed. The student can see their marks for each topic. They can also see how much time they spent being productive versus unproductive. The reports even identify the weak areas of the student, which is really helpful, for the tests and for the student to know what they need to work on.
When students finish a test, they can look at their progress report. See the answers to each question. The platform also has group sessions that go over concepts and give tips and tricks for solving problems. Then they give students assignments to do.
Mentorship and Guidance:
The platform is really cool because it has lots of interactions with BITS seniors every week. We also get our tests reviewed every week by people from BITS. To make sure we are on track, there are daily checks to see if we are following our timetable. What is more amazing is that the people who started this platform are also available to guide us personally, which is a big deal because they are the ones who know everything about it. BITS seniors and BITSians are always there to help us out. The founders of the platform are also very involved. They provide premium mentorship to us.

WHAT IS THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF BITSAT EXAM IN 2026?
Here are the 5 main advantages of taking the BITSAT 2026 exam.
BITSAT is the way to get into programs like B.E. and M.Sc. B.Pharm BITS Pilani. Which is an option if you do not get into IITs or NITs. It has good facilities, and people who study there get good jobs. BITSAT is important for people who want to study at BITS Pilani. It is a choice because BITS Pilani has nice buildings and equipment. The college also helps students get placements.
BITSAT is really good because it does not take away marks for answers. This means that when you are not sure about a question, you will not lose points. This is an advantage of BITSAT over exams like JEE, where you can lose points if you guess something incorrectly. BITSAT gives you the freedom to try and answer all the questions without worrying about losing marks, which is a big help. BITSAT is definitely better than JEE in this way.
If a student answers all 130 questions without skipping any, they get a chance to attempt 12 bonus questions, which can increase the overall score of the student. This is a thing that rewards students who are thoroughly prepared and really fast at answering the questions. This is because the well-prepared, fast student will do well on the 130 questions and also on the 12 bonus questions.
The BITSAT 2026 exam will be held in two parts. BITSAT 2026 will be held from April 15 to 17. Then again, from May 24 to 26, 2026. This is really good news for students because now they have two chances to do well in the BITSAT 2026 exam without having to wait a whole year.
BITS Pilani has teamed up with five good universities. RMIT University in Australia, the University at Buffalo and Iowa State University, in the USA, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Centrale Supélec Paris. Students do their two years at BITS Pilani, and then they go to the partner university abroad for the last two years. BITS Pilani is giving students a chance that they do not get from other Indian entrance exams. This is really something that BITS Pilani is offering to its students.
These advantages make BITSAT a strong option, especially if you're already preparing for JEE, since about 85% of the syllabus overlaps with JEE Main.
HOW TO BOOST YOUR BISAT SCORE IN 2 MONTHS
Here is a 2-month strategy based on the highest-scoring and high-weightage topics for BITSAT 2026:
Mathematics (40 questions — Highest weightage)
Mathematics is really important in the BITSAT 2026 exam. It has the weight. The Calculus and Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, and Trigonometry are the things that you will see a lot of on the test. They are also very important. Masterclass Space says that you should make a plan for your 2 months.
You should focus on these things first:
You should do them in this order.
Calculus is a part of the test. It is mostly about Integration and Differentiation. These two things make up a lot of the questions you will see. You will have to do a lot of Integration and Differentiation to get the answers right. So Calculus, which includes Integration and Differentiation, is really important.
Coordinate Geometry (Circles, Straight Lines, Conics)
Algebra (Binomial Theorem, Matrices, Sequences)
Trigonometry & Inverse Trig
Physics (30 questions — Trickiest section)
Physics is really tough because it has a lot of questions that need practice to understand the concepts:
Physics is the reason why Smart Achievers Focus on these things.
Electrostatics & Current Electricity — consistently high weightage
Mechanics (Laws of Motion, Work-Energy, Rotational Motion).
Optics — formula-heavy but very scorable
Physics is a subject that has a lot of questions. These questions are based on facts. Are pretty easy to answer correctly. That is why Physics can be a way to get high scores.
To begin with, we should look at Mechanics and Thermodynamics. These two subjects are really important because they are the foundation for the chapters that follow. Mechanics and Thermodynamics are the building blocks, so it is crucial to understand them. You can find information on Mechanics and Thermodynamics.
Chemistry (30 questions)
According to some students, Physical Chemistry is really important, which includes things like Thermodynamics and Equilibrium.
Organic Chemistry is also crucial; it covers GOC, Hydrocarbons, and Carbonyls.
Inorganic Chemistry is another area that is about the Periodic Table and Coordination Compounds, which are part of it. In the 2 months, I should focus on these things:
NCERT should always be the first reference, especially for chemistry, as many questions are conceptually direct.
English Proficiency (10 questions — Quick Marks)
The English part of the paper is 23 percent. This section really focuses on grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. If you practice every day, you will get faster. Understand things better. You will also be able to respond. Masterclass Space says that 20 to 30 minutes of practice each day on things like synonyms and antonyms, and grammar can really help improve your English score.
Logical Reasoning (20 questions — Rank Booster)
Topics like analogy, coding-decoding series, syllogisms, and blood relations are very important for Reasoning. These topics contribute to more than 50% of the total Logical Reasoning marks.
Logical Reasoning topics, such as analogy, coding-decoding series, syllogisms, and blood relations, are based on patterns.
Practise Logical Reasoning topics like analogy, coding-decoding series, syllogisms, and blood relations every day.
They improve their Logical Reasoning skills fast when they practise these topics daily because Logical Reasoning topics, like analogy, coding-decoding series, syllogisms, and blood relations, are pattern-based, and they get better with repetition.
Suggested 2-Month Weekly Split
Week Focus Week 1–2 Mathematics (Calculus + Coordinate Geometry) + Chemistry (Organic) Week 3–4 Physics (Electrostatics + Mechanics) + Chemistry (Physical) Week 5–6 Physics (Optics + Modern Physics) + Maths (Algebra + Trig) Week 7–8 Full revision + Mock tests + English & Logical Reasoning daily.
Attempt easy questions first, then move to tougher ones, and keep short notes of formulas, reactions, and definitions. For more information about how to boost BITSAT score in 2 months, visit www.masterclassspace.com.
