Step 2: Send in your application

- A duplicate of your highest academic diploma and transcript
- Offer non-English speaking nations IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson (PTE Academic), or English as the Medium of Instruction.
- A passport photocopies
- One current passport-sized photo
Please submit two academic referee reports in addition to your most recent CV or résumé when applying for a higher degree through research.
Note: If the paperwork is not in English, a certified English translation must be provided.
- The deadline for applications is at least six weeks before the start of the course.
- Students requesting credit exemptions must submit a thorough subject summary of the relevant prior qualification.
Step 3: Student Contract and Offer Letter
Your application will be evaluated in accordance with the academic and English language admission standards of your chosen programme.
If your application is accepted, you will get a letter of offer, a student contract, an advisory note, a student handbook, an induction declaration form for the student handbook, and instructions on how to apply for a student pass. The admissions team will notify you if your application is not accepted, and alternative possibilities will be addressed.
App for JCU Singapore
To monitor the status of your application, download the JCU Singapore app from the iOS App Store or Android Google Play.
Your student ID, which is listed on your letter of offer, and your personal email address are required in order to log in. You could also consult the admissions staff.
Step 4 - Accepting Offers
Consult the guidelines for accepting a letter of offer and a student contract. Before signing the student contract, each student should carefully read it.

Step 5 - Student Pass
For the application for a student pass, the following documents are necessary:
- eForm 16 and eForm V36 copies that have been finished and signed.
- An official copy of the applicant's birth certificate
If you are coming from a nation that requires a visa, you will need the additional documents listed below. If you want to know if you require a visa to enter Singapore, please visit the ICA website.
- An image of your bank statement, your fixed deposit account(s), or your savings account (s)
- For both parents and/or the candidate, a letter of employment (if applicable)
As soon as JCU receives the finished document, it will submit an application to Singapore's Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for your student pass. A new application typically takes 2 to 4 weeks to process.
Note: Holders of student permits are not allowed to work in Singapore in any capacity or to engage in any company, profession, or occupation, whether for pay or not. A valid work pass must be obtained from the Ministry of Manpower.
Step 6 - Students pass the application outcomes
ICA will send you a copy of the In-Principal Approval Letter (IPA) after approving your application for a student permit. If you are from a nation that requires a visa, the IPA acts as your entry visa to Singapore.
